The founding list is free. By joining, you ask us to email you about Gap Moment’s Kickstarter launch and product progress updates. Free list membership does not lock the planned $29 Kickstarter launch price. Unsubscribe anytime.
Optional $1 price reservation
The $1 price reservation is the same optional reservation throughout this site. It does not create a separate pricing tier.
After joining free, you may optionally pay $1 for a price reservation (limited to 300 $1 reservations). This is a refundable reservation fee, not payment for the kit, not a deposit for the kit, not a subscription, and not a Kickstarter pledge.
What the $1 holds: the planned Kickstarter launch price for the kit of $29.
Earlier reservations: We will honor any benefits promised with an earlier reservation under their original timing and conditions.
How the $1 is refunded: Before Kickstarter launches, if you change your mind, you may request a full refund of your $1. We process the refund to your original payment method. To request a refund, email hello@gapmoment.com from the address used at checkout. You pay $29 on Kickstarter. After we confirm your backing, we refund the $1 to your original payment method. You pay $29 on Kickstarter, not $28. If your original reservation promised a refund when Kickstarter opens, that promise still applies. Processing the refund by hand does not change the original timing or conditions.
The kit includes 40 scent stickers and 6 months of app access. The 6 months start when you activate and do not auto-renew. The recordings originally included with the kit remain available to listen to after the 6 months. Access to newly added content will be determined separately. The kit is purchased later on Kickstarter (or another official checkout). The planned reserved launch price for a $1 reservation is $29; shipping and taxes are extra. Today’s $1 does not purchase or ship the kit.
Product
Gap Moment is in development: a scent sticker placed nearby or on clothing (never on skin), paired with audio trips played on your phone. Full audio trips are planned to last about 10 minutes. The complete app and audio are not yet available. Gap Moment is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or sleep disorder. Experiences vary.
