Free founding list
There is no charge to join. There is nothing to refund for free-list membership. The free list provides launch notifications and product progress updates only — it does not lock Super Early Bird pricing or a private launch link.
Optional $1 Super Early Bird Hold
Super Early Bird Hold (also called Super Early Bird) is the name of this optional $1 product site-wide — not a separate “Early Bird” tier.
After joining free, you may optionally pay $1 to hold one of 300 Super Early Bird seats at $29, a private launch link, and a friend gift pack that applies when you pledge. This $1 is not payment for the Edition One kit, not a deposit for the kit, not a subscription, and not a Kickstarter pledge.
Mechanism 3.1
- On Kickstarter you pay the Super Early Bird kit price of $29 (save at least $10 vs Early Bird $39).
- When the Kickstarter campaign opens, if you do not back, we auto-refund your $1 — no email or form required.
- After you successfully pledge at Super Early Bird, we refund/apply the $1 so your product total is $29 (not $30).
- We will also refund the $1 if the project is cancelled before launch or if we cannot provide the Super Early Bird Hold as described.
Auto-refund is the default at crowdfunding open for non-backers. For any other refund question, email hello@gapmoment.com from the address used at checkout.
Kickstarter purchases
Purchases made on Kickstarter follow Kickstarter’s rules and the campaign’s stated policy at that time. The kit is paid on Kickstarter — not as part of today’s $1 Super Early Bird Hold.
