Joining the founding list is free. No payment is required to join.
If you join with your email, you may receive Kickstarter launch notices and product progress updates. Free list membership does not lock the $29 launch price. Unsubscribe anytime.
We do not sell your email.
Optional $1 price reservation
The $1 price reservation is the same optional reservation throughout this site. It does not create a separate pricing tier.
After you join free, you may optionally pay $1 to hold one of 300 reservations of the planned $29 Kickstarter launch price. You're not buying the kit today, not paying a deposit for the kit, not starting a subscription, and not making a Kickstarter pledge.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
Information we collect
We use the email you submit to provide the updates you request and administer your reservation. Optional campaign, device and interaction data are processed only for the tracking categories you choose.
Analytics and advertising tools
Optional analytics and advertising are off until you choose them in Privacy choices. Analytics includes Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity session replay, and first-party interaction/performance measurement. Advertising includes Meta and Reddit, and matching consented sign-ups or reservations using hashed contact data through server-side conversions. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent free updates or payment. You can change or withdraw choices from Privacy choices at any time; withdrawal stops future tracking and may reload the page. Global Privacy Control disables advertising tracking.

Storage, choices & requests
Essential storage remembers your privacy choice, sign-up and reservation. Stripe processes payment and fraud-prevention data when you choose checkout. Your optional tracking choice is kept for up to 180 days. Raw website behaviour logs are retained for 14 days; website conversion receipts for 90 days; pending consented conversions for up to 7 days. Copies of campaign events and reports in our internal dashboard are retained longer for campaign analysis and are not subject to the raw-log expiry; contact us to request review or deletion. Consent evidence is retained for up to 180 days and contains the choice, version and time, not your IP or email.
To request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, contact hello@gapmoment.com. Withdrawal does not undo processing already performed, and payment or legal records may still need to be retained. Service providers may process data internationally. See Google, Microsoft, Meta, Reddit and Stripe for their policies.
